About the role
The Senior Financial Analyst, Global Finance is a valued member of the dynamic Global Finance team, providing financial insights and reports to the CFO and Converse leadership team. This role involves partnering with functional and geographic leaders worldwide to support the creation and execution of Converse strategies.
Responsibilities
- Deliver actionable financial insights to drive the Converse business forward
- Develop and maintain financial models and provide financial analysis to support leadership decision-making
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L consolidation reporting
- Maintain and enhance reporting systems, ensuring accuracy of financial data
- Distribute timely and insightful financial analysis to measure progress against strategic plans, supporting accountability and marketplace decisions
- Interpret and review financial results with senior leaders, identifying trends, issues, and opportunities, and driving actionable responses
- Orchestrates and executes monthly forecasting and reporting processes, understanding and advising on appropriate levers to pull across geographies and P&L dimensions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and advise on risks and opportunities to financial forecasts, helping the business achieve financial objectives through financial modeling and scenario analysis
- Streamline processes and tools in business planning, aiming to improve efficiency without sacrificing quality
Requirements
- Self-starter with limited oversight required
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to see the bigger picture
- Strong work ethic and continuous learning and evolving department and stakeholder relationships
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, strategic planning, economics, or related field
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a business-related field and/or budgeting at a Fortune 500 company
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, independent and resourceful
- Strong understanding of P&L structure, accounting fundamentals, and month-end close mechanics
- High attention to detail and accuracy with tight deadlines
- Ability to thrive in a changing environment with agility, curiosity, and passion to create extraordinary value
- Strong communication skills, able to present complex and challenging topics and concepts
- Client service attitude and high degree of professionalism
- Process and detail-oriented with the ability to think holistically and strategically
- Innate desire to continuously explore, learn, and exercise intellectual curiosity
- Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
- SAP, BI, Tableau experience preferred
- Experience in retail or manufacturing industry preferred
