Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. While working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to solve big picture challenges.

From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or 5 years with a relevant advanced degree.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets, familiarity with SQL, and investigative experience working with complex data.
- Ability to manage and deliver complex cross-functional projects.
- Ability to adapt to constantly evolving environments.
- Ability to craft and deliver a message with credibility to influence senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Analysis into the performance of the global ads business and key drivers of variance.
- Partner with region and channel finance teams to deliver cohesive business performance narratives to executives in key forums such as Global Business Organization (GBO) Live (all GBO employees), GBO LC (all GBO directors), and other leadership moments.
- Deliver these narratives at scale by building insights that can be replicated and re-used across the organization for maximum impact.
- Manage critical ad-hoc projects in partnership with finance, GTM, and broader Google teams, including the impact of tariffs and modeling of new incentives models for sales compensation.
Pay
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $141,000 - $205,000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits.
