Key job responsibilities
- Demonstrate amazing analytical skills, ability to work with ambiguity, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Perform monthly and quarterly reviews of the fixed asset ledger to check for completeness of data, correct entries, etc. and perform corrective actions whenever necessary.
- Use solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models, interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations that deliver results, drive improvements, and influence leaders throughout Amazon.
- Collect and analyze quantitative data to develop relevant reports that drive cost reductions.
- Identify opportunities to resolve defects proactively. Improve, scale, or simplify finance tools across teams and organizations.
- Design and build processes that improve the level of automation and scalability of the aforementioned activities that can be replicated.

About the team
This role will support Controls for NASC and AMXL Capex, supporting global Launch and Engineering teams. This role will help to influence and shape global control mechanisms and partner with execution teams on Controls insights.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- 3+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
