Senior Financial Analyst, Engineering

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly rolling forecast for OpEx, CapEx and headcount with variance analysis by comparing actuals to budget and forecast
• Partner with leaders to understand operational performance and provide commentary required for executive leadership reviews
• Affiliate in the annual budgeting process by partnering with cross-functional leaders to validate financial data and consolidate budget submissions
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends, risks, and opportunities across the business
• Work with Supply Chain and Engineering on tracking cost down initiatives, specific to OpEx and CapEx timing
• Work with Accounting and FP&A during month-end close for timely submission of accruals, validation of actuals, etc.
• Continuously improve processes and tools to increase accuracy and efficiency
• Ad hoc analysis as necessary to support leadership in the decision making process

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business with an emphasis in Finance
• 5+ years of relevant Finance experience
• Preferably in Product Development, but not required
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets and ERP systems
