Senior Financial Analyst - Decision Support

Responsibilities

• Budgeting and Planning (45%)
  • Support opportunity assessments for system-wide initiatives, including assessment, pro forma, and business case audits
  • Communicate with authors and senior leadership regarding budgeting and planning activities
  • Assist system-wide users of the Oracle EPBCS planning system for operational and capital budgeting
• Centralized Analytics and Reporting (20%)
  • Support corporate leadership, channel leaders, and business units with analytic requests
  • Develop and disseminate Service Line/Channel reports
  • Provide pro forma support to business units for business case development
  • Fulfill ad hoc report requests related to Oracle EPBCS and Strata
• Current Year Forecasts (15%)
  • Assist with communications, development, and dissemination of corporate assumptions
  • Gather and load Joint Venture forecasts
• Training (10%)
  • Assist or lead training efforts related to budgeting, opportunity assessments, capital planning, and forecasts for Oracle EPBCS users
  • Support training for finance dashboards and routine financial reports (variances and trend analysis)
• Testing and Data Integrity (10%)
  • Assist with EPBCS testing for system issues or enhancement requests
  • Troubleshoot system problems and collaborate with ITS and other departments to resolve issues
  • Maintain EPBCS data integrity

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other Business-related field
• 3 years of Finance or Accounting experience
• 1 year of Healthcare Budgeting and/or Financial Planning experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of Hospital Finance experience
• CPA certification upon hire
• Experience with healthcare decision support systems such as EPSi, Strata, or Oracle EPBCS

Skills

• Strong PC literacy with full suite of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
