Senior Financial Analyst, DC Growth, AWS Infrastructure Finance

About the role

The AWS Infrastructure Finance team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support data center growth and expansion. This role involves building automated reporting, conducting competitive analysis, and supporting financial models and scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Build automated reporting to track project performance
• Research and build competitive analysis
• Drive process and analytical improvements as the business scales
• Support the monthly close process for infrastructure financing workstreams
• Aid in financial models including assumption updates, scenario runs, and sensitivity analyses
• Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis to support senior leadership requests
• Partner cross-functionally with business, legal, accounting, and treasury teams

Requirements

• 3+ years of tax, finance, or a related analytical field experience
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, or business, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy
• 3+ years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy
• Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
• Experience in financial modeling, P&L management, or analysis

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience, Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role experience, 3+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience, 3+ years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience, Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses, Experience in financial modeling, P&L management or analysis
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage, 3+ years of capital markets or capital financing experience
