About the role
The Senior Financial Analyst will support the CDS Research & Development and Clinical organizations by collaborating closely with key business leaders.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial models, project accounting, budget management (expense and capital)
- Participate in cross-functional teams, and engage in forecasting, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and Strategic Plan
- Develop and maintain various financial models and report on the impact of project timeline shifts
- Drive efficiency/improvement of related finance processes in support of the organization
- Perform additional financial analysis for special projects upon request
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree plus 4+ years in Finance or Accounting
- Collaborative, motivated, and curious attitude and approach to duties
- Manages assigned projects with a cross-functional mindset and is driven to deliver outputs in a timely manner
- Contributes to the completion of work group objectives via building relationships and consensus to reach agreements
- Critical thinking to drive efficiencies and enhance performance, in-depth analysis, and recommendations
- Communicates confidently and effectively within a matrixed organizational structure
- Strong Accounting background (US GAAP) and understanding of capital policies
- Practical knowledge of project management/accounting
