Senior Financial Analyst, AWS Agentic AI
About the role
The Senior Financial Analyst will provide strategic financial leadership for AWS Services, supporting a fast-scaling organization that drives customer value through innovative technology solutions.
Responsibilities
Influence strategic financial decisions including support for new initiatives, private pricing deal structures, and investment prioritization.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and business leaders to assess financial implications of new capabilities, features, and service launches.
Lead deep-dive analyses to identify and quantify opportunities, risks, optimizations, and growth strategies.
Develop financial models to evaluate trade-offs between different architectures, pricing strategies, and go-to-market approaches.
Support controllership activities and planning cycles with focus on P&L management.
Design and implement KPIs, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms that enable data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science), or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience.
3+ years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience.
3+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience.
Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
5+ years of performing financial and ad hoc analysis using data reporting tools experience.
Process management skills.
