About the Opportunity
A growing operations-driven organization is seeking a highly analytical and technology-minded Senior Financial Analyst to join its finance team. This role will play a key part in financial planning, forecasting, business analysis, and decision support while helping modernize reporting capabilities through advanced analytics and emerging technologies. The ideal candidate will combine strong traditional FP&A expertise with a forward-thinking approach to data visualization, automation, and AI-enabled financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, budgets, and long-range planning analyses.
- Partner with business leaders to provide insights into financial performance, operational trends, and key business drivers.
- Analyze financial results and communicate meaningful recommendations to leadership.
- Create and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools that improve visibility across the organization.
- Utilize Power BI and other business intelligence platforms to enhance reporting capabilities and support data-driven decision making.
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting processes and improve efficiencies through technology and AI-driven solutions.
- Support monthly financial reviews, variance analyses, and executive reporting packages.
- Collaborate with accounting and operational teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Assist with strategic initiatives, profitability analyses, and special projects.
- Continuously evaluate processes and recommend improvements that enhance financial visibility and organizational performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 5-7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial analysis, corporate finance, or a related discipline.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling, scenario analysis, and large data set management.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize large amounts of data into actionable insights.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and partner effectively with cross-functional teams.
