Senior Financial Analyst

About the role

Join Unity’s FP&A team and play a pivotal role in evolving our business model from SaaS to an AI token-based, advertising-supported model. As a Senior Financial Analyst at a multi-billion-dollar public company in New York City, you’ll partner cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, and business leaders to drive financial planning, strategic analysis, reporting, and operational improvements that directly impact the P&L.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly consolidated close process, quarterly forecast, and annual planning to align investments with Unity’s strategic priorities.
• Collaborate with business units and functional teams to establish near- and long-term investment plans.
• Ensure accurate weekly and monthly reporting on financial metrics and Key Performance Indicators.
• Prepare materials and narratives for internal Executive meetings, Board of Directors meetings, and earnings calls.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and projects to support senior management and strategic decisions.
• Lead system and process improvement initiatives to drive efficiencies, scalability, and automation in FP&A.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field from a top academic institution.
• At least two (2) years of work experience, preferably in Strategy Consulting or Investment Banking.
• Keen interest in technology, including Generative AI, gaming, interactive 3D, and advertising technology.
• Orientation toward eliminating spreadsheets and slideware using AI tools (e.g., Claude in Excel, Office Connect). Experience with AI assistants, copilots, or automation tools is a plus.
• Expert-level ability to parse large datasets, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and translate data into actionable insights.
• Exceptional communication skills with the executive presence to influence senior leaders across diverse functions.
• Ability to distill complex analyses into clear, actionable insights.
• Sufficient proficiency in English for professional verbal and written communication with global colleagues and partners.

Pay

Base salary range: $84,200—$160,100 USD gross. The final offer amount will depend on geographic location, relevant experience, professional background, and skill set. This role may also be eligible for equity awards and participation in company incentive plans (e.g., annual discretionary bonuses or sales commissions).

Relocation support and work visa/immigration sponsorship are not available for this position.
