Join a global manufacturing leader that’s investing in its Finance organization and looking to add a Senior Financial Analyst to its high-performing FP&A team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys partnering with the business, solving complex problems, and influencing strategic decisions—not just reporting the numbers. In this highly visible role, you’ll work closely with Operations, executive leadership, and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that drive profitability, operational performance, and long-term business strategy. You’ll gain broad exposure across the organization while building a clear path for future career growth.

Responsibilities

  • Business Partnership & Financial Analysis
    • Partner with Operations and functional leaders to provide financial guidance and decision support.
    • Analyze financial and operational performance, identify key business drivers, and communicate actionable insights.
    • Evaluate profitability, productivity, labor, material costs, and operational KPIs.
  • Planning, Forecasting & Modeling
    • Support the annual budget, monthly forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
    • Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic initiatives.
    • Perform variance analysis and present recommendations to leadership.
  • Strategic Finance
    • Build business cases and ROI analyses for capital investments and growth initiatives.
    • Support pricing strategies, cost reduction efforts, and operational improvement projects.
    • Identify financial risks and opportunities while helping leadership make informed decisions.
  • Reporting & Process Improvement
    • Prepare executive-level reporting, dashboards, and financial presentations.
    • Support consolidated reporting across multiple business units.
    • Improve reporting processes through automation and enhanced data analytics.
    • Partner closely with Accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecast integrity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 3–6 years of FP&A, Corporate Finance, Operations Finance, or related analytical experience
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills
  • Advanced Excel proficiency
  • Ability to translate complex financial data into meaningful business recommendations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence business partners
  • Self-motivated professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Manufacturing, industrial, or multi-site operations experience
  • Capital investment analysis and ROI modeling
  • Operational KPI reporting and business performance analysis
  • Experience supporting global or multi-business unit organizations
  • ERP and financial planning systems experience (SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, OneStream, Adaptive Planning, or similar)

Compensation: Up to $110K, plus bonus.

Work location: 3 days in / 2 days out in the Charlotte, NC area. Relocation assistance is not offered at this time.
