Senior Financial Analyst
About the Role
Quantcast is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. The FP&A team partners with senior management and C-suite executives to advise on strategic decision-making, lead financial planning, budgeting & forecasting, investor relations initiatives, and competitor financial analysis. The range of team responsibilities provide unique exposure to a wide breadth of corporate finance, including business partnership, financial modeling, all 3 statements (P&L, balance sheet and cash flow), corporate valuation and investor messaging. This position offers a significant opportunity to use creative ideas to design, implement and manage processes that support business needs, and provides significant exposure to senior executives. A successful candidate is an organized self-starter with innate entrepreneurial and analytical abilities.
What You'll Do
- FP&A business partner and trusted strategic advisor to Quantcast's EMEA Sales, Marketing, COS, and G&A organizations as their go-to financial expert
- Play a pivotal role in our company-wide annual planning process; engage with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with our overarching corporate goals and financial targets
- Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly reports to senior executives and Board of Directors
- Prepare the quarterly Contribution Margin model, a report critical to the business in assessing the profitability of our Sales organizations and making key investment decisions
- Proactively identify actionable insights and suggest recommendations to influence the direction of the business
- Play an active role in investor relations initiatives and 409A valuation work streams
- Work closely with the Sales Operations team to ensure forecast accuracy, unearth actionable insights, and help shape strategies for the Sales organization
- Lead key internal financial processes, including monthly close and forecasting
- Support financial due diligence as new initiatives and projects arise
Who You Are
- This is not a remote position; on-site presence at our San Francisco / New York City office three days a week is required as part of Quantcast's hybrid work model
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Accounting or Finance
- 4-5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or a related field; experience in investment banking, management consulting, or corporate development is a plus
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and forecast future performance accurately
- Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential, with the ability to convey financial concepts to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Highly organized self-starter and able to deal with ambiguity
- Team player comfortable working with global business partners across regions
Bonus Points
- Experience with Oracle Hyperion / NetSuite and Sigma
- Familiarity with the ad-tech industry
Pay
Compensation Range: $116.3K - $135.2K
