About the role

You will support the month-end close process, including bank reconciliations, revenue recognition, cost allocations, accruals, and intercompany transactions, in line with group reporting requirements. You will prepare accurate and timely financial reports for monthly, quarterly, and annual periods to support regulatory filings, management reporting, and external audits. Additionally, you will enhance internal control frameworks to strengthen financial accuracy, compliance, and reporting timeliness. The role involves developing automated processes for financial reporting and analytics, partnering with cross-functional teams to align financial priorities with business objectives, and navigating regulatory changes across multiple jurisdictions in the Americas.

Responsibilities

• Support the month-end close process, including bank reconciliations, revenue recognition, cost allocations, accruals, and intercompany transactions.
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for regulatory filings, management reporting, and external audits.
• Enhance internal control frameworks to improve financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and reporting timeliness.
• Develop effective and automated processes for financial reporting and analytics.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align financial priorities with broader business objectives and support informed decision-making.
• Proactively monitor and respond to changes in reporting standards and tax mandates across multiple jurisdictions in the Americas.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in financial services, fintech, or crypto industries.
• Deep understanding of accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS).
• Experience with financial reporting, planning, and performance analysis.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Sound judgment and ability to articulate outcomes clearly to senior management.
• Self-starting problem solver, able to identify and execute new tasks proactively.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $75,531 - $94,413. The salary offered depends on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the base salary, a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, along with a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
