About the Opportunity

The Senior Financial Analyst will support financial planning, forecasting, and portfolio-level analysis across the firm's fund platform. This role builds and maintains cash flow and performance models spanning the portfolio, partners closely with Accounting on data integrity, and delivers analysis that informs executive decision-making across acquisitions, operations, and fund administration. This position reports directly to the CFO and oversees a Financial Analyst and Junior Financial Analyst.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain fund-level and portfolio-level cash flow models (e.g., cash roll-forward analyses), tracking acquisition, refinancing, and disposition activity across funds
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly budget-to-actual variance analysis across payroll, repairs & maintenance, and contract services categories, identifying trends and outliers
  • Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and performance reporting templates at the property and portfolio level
  • Conduct general ledger and portfolio data quality reviews, flagging coding errors, inconsistent chart-of-accounts usage, and anomalous account activity
  • Support annual budgeting and multi-year forecasting processes in partnership with Asset Management and Accounting
  • Assist with borrowing base and credit facility compliance reporting, including DSCR and covenant calculations
  • Support fund administration and LP reporting processes, including NAV-related data requests
  • Build ad hoc financial models and analyses supporting strategic and operational initiatives (e.g., benefits cost modeling, organizational design, headcount planning)
  • Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, Asset Management, and executive leadership to ensure data consistency across reporting outputs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 4–6 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or real estate finance/accounting
  • Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and cash flow modeling
  • Experience working with general ledger systems (e.g., Yardi, Rent Manager) and multi-entity financial data
  • Strong analytical rigor and attention to detail; comfort working with large, imperfect datasets
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables against competing deadlines
  • Driven, self-motivated learner comfortable in a fast-paced, high-expectations environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in real estate private equity or a multi-entity portfolio finance environment
  • Familiarity with credit facility mechanics (borrowing base, covenant/DSCR compliance)
  • Direct experience with manufactured housing, self-storage, or RV/resort real estate
  • Exposure to fund administration, NAV processes, or LP reporting
  • Comfort working with AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) in day-to-day workflow

Pay

Base Salary: $125,000–$165,000
