Senior Financial Analyst
About the role
We're seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning and Analysis Team in a hybrid work setting. The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of FP&A and business partnership experience, preferably within software, internet, SaaS, or related industries. A bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field, along with advanced financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting skills, is required. Prior experience with Excel and complex model development, as well as strong analytical, problem-solving, and business acumen, are essential. Bonus points for SaaS business industry experience, familiarity with key metrics, and proficiency in tools like Alteryx, Tableau, and AI.
Responsibilities
- Lead company-wide commission calculations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with business objectives
- Drive commission analytics and financial modeling to identify trends, optimize performance, and support strategic decision-making
- Enhance commission processes, logic, and reporting to improve efficiency, accuracy, and sales rep visibility
- Possess strong cross-functional collaboration skills to implement compensation plans, educate Sales on commission programs, and support forecasting and budgeting through commission accruals
Requirements
The successful candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field, and ideally an MBA and/or CPA. Advanced financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting skills, including expertise in Excel and complex model development, are crucial. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business acumen, with a curious, proactive approach to identifying opportunities, mitigating risks, and tackling new challenges, are also necessary. Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, particularly an understanding of key financial and operational needle movers, are a plus. Familiarity with SaaS business metrics and tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, and AI is a bonus.
