Senior Financial Analyst

Provides critical support and guidance through the development, analysis, and presentation of strategic business initiatives. Partners with key stakeholders across Finance, Marketing, Account Management, Operations, HVAC, and IT to deliver value-added business analysis, strategic guidance, and accurate predictive forecasts and insights to senior management. Requires in-depth understanding of all key business drivers and sophisticated financial models.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with key business owners to prepare annual budget presentations, quarterly strategic plans, monthly forecasts, and weekly reporting, including comprehensive KPI reporting, operational dashboard reporting, analysis of key business trends, actual vs. budget variances, and executive-level explanations of differences.
  • Support the company’s annual budget and monthly forecast processes using Hyperion Planning tools, ensuring budgets are accurate, comprehensive, and completed on time.
  • Provide monthly forecast reporting and analysis and annual ESG reporting to Brookfield; adjust processes and formats as needed to meet requirements.
  • Support the company’s five-year financial model and targets, providing inputs through EBITDA.
  • Complete ad-hoc and special projects to support business growth, operational improvements, and senior leader decision-making.
  • Effectively communicate with business stakeholders and influence potential outcomes based on supported analysis, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and validity of reported information.
  • Support ongoing initiatives to automate, improve, and streamline analysis and reporting processes; develop exception reporting, build quality controls, and offer insights on data discrepancies.

Essential Functions

  • Support annual budget process (20% of time)
  • Prepare quarterly and monthly business reviews for senior management (20% of time)
  • Prepare weekly “Pulse” KPI dashboard (20% of time)
  • Support the Marketing team with monthly channel analysis (20% of time)
  • Lead the annual ESG reporting process and ad hoc analysis (20% of time)

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Finance-related field (MBA preferred)
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant business analytics experience
  • Expert in MS Excel and financial modeling with exposure to reporting tools such as Brio, Tableau, Alteryx, and Hyperion Planning
  • Demonstrated success building, maintaining, and governing analytical models
  • Able to communicate effectively across all functions and levels, including presenting ideas and analysis to senior management
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while managing multiple concurrent tasks
  • Able to work effectively in a team setting, including being receptive and objective when encountering diverse points of view

Pay

Salary Range (Norwalk, CT): $91,955.16 – $122,606.89 annually, with a 10% annual bonus potential.
