Senior Financial Analyst

About the role

Guidehouse is seeking a professional to join our Finance & Accounting Consulting team. This role requires an active and maintained "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial execution data, revenue, expenditures, and workload trends
• Compare planned versus actual performance and identify key drivers of variances
• Develop financial forecasts and projections to support decision-making
• Perform research and analysis regarding operational and financial impacts of changing mission requirements
• Maintain oversight of execution against approved plans and recommend corrective actions when necessary
• Support annual billing rate development and validation efforts
• Support annual billing rate development and validation efforts
• Research and respond to customer and stakeholder financial inquiries

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree
• Four (4) or more years of relevant data analysis or data management experience
• Relevant experience with financial forecasting, variance analysis, reporting, etc.
• Must be able to be onsite 5 days a week

What would be nice to have

• Experience supporting DoW, Air Force, USTRANSCOM, or Working Capital Fund organizations
• Experience supporting budget execution and financial planning activities
• Experience working with large financial and operational datasets
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in complex environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities for complex data challenges
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $89,000.00 - $148,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

Schedule

Position may be eligible for a discretionary variable incentive bonus.
