Reports to: VP, Head of Operations, Finance & HR

About Evidenza

Evidenza is revolutionizing market research with the world's leading synthetic research platform. Using AI-generated replicas of real customers, we deliver qualitative and quantitative research in minutes, not months — understanding audiences 100x faster and at a fraction of the cost of traditional methods. Founded in 2024 by Peter Weinberg, Jon Lombardo, and Brian Watroba, we've grown explosively - 100+ clients including Microsoft, Salesforce, Nestlé, Mars, and EY, millions in revenue with no external funding, and a fast-growing eight-figure pipeline. We are that rare thing in AI: a company growing fast and doing it profitably.

About the role

This is the operational backbone of Evidenza. Reporting directly to the VP of Operations, Finance & HR, you'll take real ownership of the systems, numbers, and decisions that keep a high-growth company running - and step directly into work that today sits on the leadership team's plate. Our mandate is simple and serious: equip the company with everything it needs to hit aggressive financial goals, as a profitable business. You'll help make that happen.

You are a utility player - sharp, resourceful, and equally comfortable running a forecast or cleaning up the pipeline - no task is out of scope. Your job is not to flag problems; it's to diagnose them, build the analysis, and deliver a recommendation that moves the business - and, better yet, to tackle issues before they become problems. You won't inherit a playbook. You'll build one from the ground up, hand it off, and move to the next thing. Along the way you'll get exposure most people wait a decade for: real context across every major function, moving fluidly between strategic thinking and hands-on execution, and owning important problems from first exploration through implementation and measurable results. This is a demanding role with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility. If you're low-ego, hungry to learn, and genuinely excited by high-impact work, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Finance & Planning
    • Plan the year: participate in annual budgeting and forecasting, keeping it aligned with business strategy and objectives.
    • Keep the lights on: manage the financial and administrative infrastructure - invoicing, expense tracking, vendor payments - and the financial foundations that keep the business running smoothly.
    • Drive the close: organize and run all closing and consolidation processes, including monthly account reconciliations.
    • Manage the flow: own the AP and AR functions.
    • AI as default: use AI tools and agents as a standard part of how you work - not as an experiment, but as a genuine force multiplier.
  • Revenue Operations
    • Turn data into decisions: deliver analyses that end in recommendations - pipeline health, conversion trends, capacity planning, segment performance - and surface clear recommendations to sales leadership.
    • Own the source of truth: keep HubSpot and deal data clean so pipeline, reporting, and forecasting are trustworthy, and build the dashboards leadership uses to steer.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years in finance or accounting.
  • Strong proficiency with accounting systems, Excel/Google Sheets, and analytical chops. You're fluent in the numbers and can build the model that answers the question.
  • High agency, low ego. You don't wait to be told what to do - you identify the gap, propose the solution, and execute. If something is broken, you fix it without being asked, and no task is too small.
  • Comfortable operating without a playbook, with a high tolerance for ambiguity and sound judgment on what matters most right now.
  • Experience using AI tools in an accounting context.
  • Commission framework experience helpful.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent experience.

How We Work

We are looking for people who are high throughput, and hyper-resourceful - here to increase our capacity and help us grow. We move fast, and we need to move faster. This role is designed for someone who wants to see how a high-growth company is actually built and scaled, and to be one of the people building it.

Pay

Base Salary: $75,000 – $110,000

Benefits

  • Performance-based annual bonus.
  • Health and dental insurance.
  • 401(k) (waiting period applies).
  • Unlimited PTO — and we genuinely mean it.
