This position reports to the Director of Finance.
Responsibilities
- Primary finance responsibility for financial modeling and analysis to support capital projects across the business.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models (NPV, IRR, payback period, sensitivity analysis) to evaluate proposed capital projects.
- Develop investment proposals and presentations for Executive and Board-level approval of capital projects, outlining anticipated returns, risks, and strategic implications.
- Partner with Engineering, Construction/Development, Operations, and Procurement to gather assumptions and validate capital project inputs.
- Provide ongoing financial support once a project is approved, including budget-to-actual tracking, variance analysis, and monitoring KPIs on capital deployment efficiency.
- Update forecasts and models as project scope, cost, or timing changes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Analyze deal and unit economics for new sites and facilities to support long-term capacity planning.
- Perform ad hoc and project-specific financial analyses (e.g., ROI comparisons, lease-vs-buy, make-vs-buy).
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or capital planning, ideally supporting capital project evaluation and approval.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred.
- Strong knowledge and experience in financial modeling, valuation techniques (NPV, IRR, discounted cash flow), capital budgeting, and sensitivity modeling and interpretation.
- Candidates with experience in the Data Center industry, Infrastructure, Technology, Construction, Banking, Private Equity, or Real Estate environments are strongly encouraged to apply.
Skills
- Advanced Excel modeling skills, including experience building and auditing complex, multi-scenario financial models.
- Familiarity with financial planning and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Anaplan, or similar) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in leading teams and coordinating cross-functionally to drive projects to closure.

- Superb ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and responsibilities.
- Proven ability to meet committed timelines, leveraging assistance from peers.
- Strong and effective team player, capable of handling a wide range of tasks to achieve goals.

Pay
The pay range for this role is $110,000 - $120,000 USD per year (HQ).
