Senior Financial Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to add to our team. This position is responsible for the preparation, coordination, and documentation of financial analysis projects and reports such as financial and expense performance, revenue projections, depreciation and working capital. Additionally, this position provides forward-looking analysis through forecasts, trend reporting and competitive performance evaluation. Responsibilities Detail statistical reporting on staffing, operations, FTEs, revenueCoordinate and communicate budgetsCoordinate annual budget preparation and communicationIdentifies trends and developments in the business environmentEnsure compliance with internal controls and recommend appropriate changes or updatesAssists in the training of basic budgetary understanding and requirements for non-financial managersConsolidate reports for rollup reporting within and between divisionsPartner with Contract division to ensure current and future billing and reimbursement rates are accuratePresent monthly or quarterly reports to Senior ManagementWeekly/daily trends analysisPreparation of Board level reporting packagesComplete other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting. Master’s degree or advanced certification (CPA, CFA) preferredMinimum of three years’ experience in accounting, finance, preferably in a healthcare environmentDemonstrated experience with financial applications and budgetary toolsDemonstrate excellent communication (written and verbal) skills requiredComfortable working self-directed and under time constraintsKnowledge of healthcare and regulatory accounting (SEC, GAAP)Knowledge of data management and retrieval techniquesUnderstanding of healthcare billing cyclesCommunicate effectively both verbally and in writing with business partners and managementMaintain appropriate professional boundaries and confidentiality, including a working knowledge of 45 CFR “Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act” and 42 C.F.R.
