Senior Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Compile and distribute monthly reports for external stakeholders
• Compile and distribute monthly reports for internal stakeholders
• Create and maintain financial dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Work with channel leaders to identify gaps in coverage (i.e., potential sales opportunities)
• Aid in the preparation of semi-annual budget models
• Investigate income/expense variances to budget
• Collaborate with Accounting Dept in commission statement research and analysis
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency
• Perform various ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Minimum 5-7 years of work experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or related role
• Experience working with large data sets and financial reporting tools
• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite - including Power Query, Power Pivot and Power BI
• Proficiency with financial systems and ERP tools is an asset
• Experience with financial budgeting, reporting, modeling and analysis
• Interprets and communicates financial data clearly
• High level of confidentiality and integrity dealing with sensitive information
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Ability to effectively multi-task, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Prior work experience within a CPG (Consumer Packaged Good) broker, sales agency or other food products or manufacturing is desirable
