About the role

North America ATS is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to lead Transportation Operations Management (TOM) planning and process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial reporting and modeling initiatives, translating complex data into actionable insights that drive global strategic decisions
  • Analyze key performance indicators and validate
  • Champion data integrity and financial controls as a Controllership priority
  • Proactively identify and resolve complex reporting issues while implementing cost-effective risk management solutions
  • Guide business partners through financial decision-making, particularly in ambiguous situations with limited data
  • Provide balanced analysis of financial and operational trade-offs to support informed choices
  • Communicate complex financial information with clarity and precision, adapting your approach for different audiences
  • Deliver insights that enable critical business decisions through both written and verbal channels
  • Demonstrate strong leadership by engaging in constructive dialogue, effectively managing disagreement, and driving consensus-based decisions while maintaining professional conviction
  • Build and develop high-performing teams by recruiting exceptional talent, providing meaningful mentorship, and fostering growth opportunities within the Finance organization
  • Lead Finance-wide initiatives that strengthen the global team, including professional development programs and diversity & inclusion efforts that prepare the organization for future challenges

Requirements

We are looking for a leader who exhibits excellent attention to detail and is comfortable with ambiguity. A typical day in this role provides an opportunity to improve and create new measures for business effectiveness, innovate creative solutions utilizing large scale data mining tools, and identify high priority projects to maximize results for key stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
  • 3+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
  • MBA, or CPA preferred
  • 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.

  • USA, TX, Irving - 66,900.00 - 117,100.00 USD annually
  • USA, WA, Bellevue - 82,700.00 - 117,100.00 USD annually
