Alexa Finance is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team and support a new monetization initiative. With a decade of innovation behind us, Amazon has built market-leading businesses like Kindle, Kindle Fire Tablets, Fire TV, and Echo. About the role
You will work closely with business leaders to identify opportunities and develop business cases. You should have experience influencing business owners and supporting decision-making in dynamic environments. You will be responsible for end-to-end financial planning cycles, including forecasting, bridging, and presenting to senior leadership. You will also perform root cause analysis and assist stakeholders in improving financial performance metrics.
Responsibilities
- End-to-end ownership of financial planning cycles
- Forecast modeling and bridging
- Presentation to senior leadership
- Perform root cause analysis and assist stakeholders in improving financial performance
- Finance communication with business teams on product performance, long-term planning, risks, and opportunities
- Drive automation and scale of financial reporting to simplify processes for internal stakeholders
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field
- 3+ years of experience dissecting financial data and identifying patterns to support business strategy
- 3+ years of experience contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy
- Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, or a related quantitative field
Qualifications
- Experience in financial modeling, P&L management, or analysis
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay
The salary range for this position is $160,000 - $220,000 annually, depending on experience and location.
