Senior Finance Solutions Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Finance Solutions Specialist with strong experience in Enterprise Financial Management and ERP systems to join a dynamic and collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with finance, business, and technical teams to gather requirements and assess solution complexity.
• Translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Lead fit-gap analysis and design end-to-end solutions leveraging Certinia capabilities.
• Provide guidance on system functionality, implementation considerations, risks, and cost implications.
• Design and oversee custom solution architectures, including APIs and data integrations.
• Partner with development teams to guide implementation and troubleshoot technical challenges.
• Ensure high-quality, scalable, and reliable solution delivery.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for Certinia Finance applications.
• Maintain comprehensive system documentation.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend enhancements.
• Lead system optimization initiatives to support evolving business needs.
• Act as a trusted liaison between business and technical stakeholders.
• Drive user acceptance testing (UAT), change management, and adoption initiatives.
• Develop training materials and documentation to support end users and promote best practices.
• Provide advanced technical and functional support.
• Ensure compliance with IT controls, security standards, and governance requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• 3–4 years of hands-on experience with Certinia PSA and/or Certinia Accounting (ERP) solutions.
• Strong understanding of accounting and finance processes, including: Time Entry, Revenue Recognition, Work in Progress (WIP), Backlog Reporting.
• Experience working with business stakeholders to deliver technical solutions in Agile environments (Scrum and/or SAFe).
• Proficiency with project and delivery tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Azure DevOps.
• Full professional fluency in written and spoken English.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise across Certinia ERP/PSA modules, including: Project Accounting, Resource Management, Financials, Time & Expense, Billing Multi-currency Project, Economics.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to business and executive stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring or coaching administrators, analysts, or cross-functional teams.
• A collaborative and solution-oriented mindset when working with vendors and external partners.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• A business-first approach focused on delivering practical, outcome-driven solutions.
