  • Analyze business performance and identify trends, risks, opportunities, and improvement actions.
  • Challenge assumptions and provide sound financial and commercial recommendations.
  • Support post-investment reviews and performance tracking of major initiatives.
  • Participate in strategic projects, process improvement initiatives, and other cross-functional business priorities.
  • Support acquisitions, due diligence, and integration activities as needed.
  • Work with the FP&A team to provide analysis and insight in support of broader business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting, management information, processes, and decision-making.
  • Utilize technology, automation, business intelligence tools, and emerging capabilities such as AI to improve analysis and efficiency where appropriate.
  • Build strong working relationships across finance, operations, commercial teams, and senior leadership.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to junior finance team members as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, commercial finance, operations finance, strategic finance, or a related discipline.
  • Strong financial analysis and financial modeling skills.
  • Experience using financial information to support operational or strategic business decisions.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate complex financial information into clear, practical recommendations.
  • Strong Excel and financial reporting skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • A strong commercial mindset and genuine curiosity about how the business operates.
