Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all core finance operations, including billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reporting
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, and financial analysis processes
- Manage and develop the billing/accounting team while strengthening controls and efficiencies
- Partner with leadership to deliver financial insights, reporting, and strategic recommendations
- Oversee trust accounting, cash flow management, and compliance requirements
- Drive technology enhancements, process improvements, and workflow optimization across finance functions
Qualifications
- 7+ years of accounting and finance experience, including law firm finance experience
- Leadership experience managing billing, accounting, or finance teams
- Strong knowledge of trust accounting, GAAP, and law firm financial operations
- Experience with Aderant and/or Elite accounting systems required
- Proven experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and systems management
- Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills
Pay & Schedule
- Salary: $180k-200K base plus bonus
- Location: Midtown, NYC (Hybrid 2x in office)
