Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all core finance operations, including billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reporting
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, and financial analysis processes
• Manage and develop the billing/accounting team while strengthening controls and efficiencies
• Partner with leadership to deliver financial insights, reporting, and strategic recommendations
• Oversee trust accounting, cash flow management, and compliance requirements
• Drive technology enhancements, process improvements, and workflow optimization across finance functions

Qualifications

• 7+ years of accounting and finance experience, including law firm finance experience
• Leadership experience managing billing, accounting, or finance teams
• Strong knowledge of trust accounting, GAAP, and law firm financial operations
• Experience with Aderant and/or Elite accounting systems required
• Proven experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and systems management
• Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills

Pay & Schedule

• Salary: $180k-200K base plus bonus
• Location: Midtown, NYC (Hybrid 2x in office)
