About the role
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys solving complex business problems, influencing executive decision-making, and helping shape the long-term direction of an organization.
Responsibilities
- Build sophisticated financial models, including DCF, valuation, scenario, and sensitivity analyses
- Evaluate strategic investments, acquisitions, partnerships, and other corporate development opportunities
- Conduct market, competitive, and industry research to identify growth opportunities and business risks
- Develop business cases and present recommendations to executive leadership
- Support due diligence and transaction execution for strategic initiatives
- Analyze operational efficiency and cost-saving opportunities across the business
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to identify process improvements and leverage AI and automation initiatives
- Create financial insights that drive informed, data-based business decisions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, management consulting, strategic finance, FP&A, or a similar analytical role
- Expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and strategic analysis
- Strong executive communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives while working independently
Qualifications
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting mergers & acquisitions or strategic transactions, Background in utilities, infrastructure, energy, or other regulated industries, MBA or other advanced degree
