Key Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic finance partner, supporting business decisions through insights and analysis
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow), ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Lead quarterly rolling forecasting processes, including financial and operational KPIs
- Maintain cost control, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions
- Develop investment proposals and business cases
- Drive process improvements, automation, and efficiencies in financial reporting
- Deliver data-driven presentations and reports to the CFO, Managing Director, and senior leadership
- Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance financial performance and streamline processes
- Support key projects such as staffing analysis, contract evaluations, and negotiations
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in mid level management finance role, preferably within port operations or the container/logistics industry
- Strong financial acumen with advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI or Python is an advantage
- Solid knowledge of IFRS (mandatory)
- Experience with financial systems (e.g., IFS, Hyperion) is a plus
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform under pressure
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into business insights
- Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement
- Experience supporting Lean or continuous improvement initiatives
