About the role

Heartworks Early Education seeks a highly skilled and passionate Senior Field Teacher to join our team in Vermont. This position involves providing direct instruction and support to children in a home-based setting, ensuring they develop essential life skills and academic knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with state educational standards.
• Provide individualized attention to each child, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
• Collaborate with families to promote open communication and support family involvement in their child’s education.
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for all children.
• Assess children's progress regularly and communicate findings to parents and other educators.
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience working with children in a home-based or classroom setting.
• Valid Vermont Childcare Worker Certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
