About the role
Egnyte is looking for a Senior Specialist of Field Marketing to join our Growing Verticals go-to-market efforts. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role that sits at the intersection of strategy and execution—and at the forefront of defining where Egnyte grows next. You’ll be equally comfortable analyzing market signals to shape a long-term vertical bet and rolling up your sleeves to run the programs that bring it to life. You will work closely with our vertical leaders to design and implement the strategy for identifying and activating growing verticals.
Responsibilities
- Growing Verticals Strategy and Execution
- Finding the right focus: Spot where Egnyte’s next wave of growth is coming from. Using data from Sales, Product Marketing, and external market signals, identify emerging industries and account segments that are trending up. Build a focused, targeted strategy to drive accelerated pipeline growth before opportunities become widely recognized.
- Running the plan: Build and execute programs to activate focus areas. Partner closely with Sales and Sales Leadership to design niche, targeted programs such as executive roundtables, industry-specific digital campaigns, intimate dinners, and account-based activations that generate pipeline and drive closures.
- Working with the Channel: Collaborate with the Channel team to leverage the partner network, expanding reach without requiring an Egnyte employee at every regional event.
- Event-in-a-Box: Develop standardized frameworks to maintain consistent quality across events, regardless of who is running them.
- Driving Growth through Tech Levers
Leverage Egnyte’s investment in core tech stack (Splash, Cvent, Outreach, iCapture) and AI tools. Identify opportunities where AI can reduce busywork, surface better insights, and help Sales move faster on leads. Innovate to find smarter ways to run programs.
Requirements
- Experience: 5-7+ years in Field Marketing as a strong individual contributor who can own strategy and execution end-to-end. Proven track record of building and running programs that drove real pipeline. Ability to work cross-functionally without needing a team to execute.
- A "Hub" Mentality: Skilled in centralized planning. Ability to connect the dots between growth signals, field activity, and operational rhythm across a multi-vertical team.
- A Systems Mindset: Instinctively identify and fix broken processes by building templates or workflows. Energized by turning chaotic field marketing processes into repeatable, improvable systems.
- Practical with Tech: Proficient with AI, Salesforce, event platforms, and tools like Outreach. View technology as a means to drive growth.
- Great Communication: Ability to present a growth thesis to Sales Leadership and secure buy-in for niche program strategies. Execute every detail to bring strategies to life while building trust with Sales teams as a partner.
- Focus on Results: Comfortable with data analysis (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables). Familiar with metrics such as pipeline sourced, cost per opportunity, and conversion velocity.
