Responsibilities
- Educate patients and caregivers about disease state and therapy management in an accessible manner
- Assess individual patient needs and provide tailored education and resources throughout the healthcare journey
- Support cross-functional partners and contribute to educational efforts in the assigned territory
- Provide expert insights to internal stakeholders to address educational gaps and enhance patient support
- Cook up and present caregiver speaker programs and participate in community events
- Conduct physician office in-services regarding patient support resources and the educator role
- Identify leadership and development opportunities for team members and partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred, with an emphasis in life sciences; RN, MSN, or MBA a plus
- 5-7 years of relevant healthcare or pharmaceutical experience, with a focus on patient support or education
- Rare Disease, Product Launch, and Advocacy expertise preferred
- Strong understanding of Medicaid/Medicare processes
