Senior Family Law Attorney (100% remote)

About The Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Family Law Attorney to join its growing Washington-based Family Law practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated attorney who enjoys the flexibility of a fully remote work environment while handling sophisticated family law matters and making a meaningful impact on clients' lives. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to independently manage a diverse family law caseload throughout Washington.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage a caseload of family law matters from initial consultation through final resolution.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and negotiations.
• Develop case strategies and provide practical legal advice tailored to each client's objectives.
• Draft pleadings, motions, declarations, settlement agreements, parenting plans, and other family law documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive legal arguments.
• Prepare cases for trial, including witness preparation, discovery, and evidentiary matters.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and provide timely updates throughout the legal process.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient case management and exceptional client service.
• Participate in professional development, mentoring, and firm initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA).
• Minimum of 3 years of Washington Family Law experience.
• Strong experience handling motions, mediations, negotiations, and trial preparation.
• Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to build strong client relationships while handling sensitive family law matters with professionalism and empathy.
• Proficiency with legal technology, including case management software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while attending in-person hearings, mediations, and firm meetings throughout Washington as required.
