About the role

ServiceSource is an organization dedicated to driving innovation and strengthening communities. This position involves leading and managing Base Operations Support (BOS) contracts, ensuring that facilities and equipment are operated, maintained, and repaired according to corporate and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all equipment and structures comply with corporate/ownership standards, local, state, and national codes and regulations.
  • Coordinate large equipment maintenance activities at two St. Louis Region sites.
  • Direct response to repairs by others for essential MEP systems.
  • Provide contract direction to in-house supervisors and subcontractors.
  • Make critical decisions in response to facility-related occurrences to maintain data center operations.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and subcontractors.
  • Monitor and resolve problems or conflicts with customers.
  • Support a project-wide atmosphere of openness, credibility, trust, collaboration, and proactive concern for the customer and ServiceSource's mission.
  • Respond promptly to data center and technical facility infrastructure questions.
  • Supervise, oversee, and ensure quality assurance of PWS requirements.
  • Perform technical writing and special projects as required.
  • Organize and ensure appropriate records/documentation are acquired and kept current.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and that employees abide by all safety and security requirements.
  • Assess contract performance, manage facility maintenance trends, support development of capital improvements, and ensure 100% readiness of all contracted facility equipment systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field of study preferred or equivalent of 10 years’ experience in related field.
  • Five years of experience in facilities equipment operation and maintenance services, HVAC systems, 300-600-ton chillers or larger, chilled water systems, UPS systems, data center cooling and operations, and electrical distribution systems.
  • Two years of experience supervising staff associated with facility operations and maintenance functions in a data center environment.
  • Possess full knowledge and understanding of data center facility functions and systems operability.
  • Able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI government security clearance with polygraph.

Physical Demands

  • Regularly stand, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear.
  • Occasionally walk and sit.
  • Occasionally lift or move products and supplies, up to 50 pounds.
  • Close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Work environment is usually quiet.
