Senior Fabricator (Welder)

About the Role

This position requires meticulous work and a constant drive for improvement. You must be able to follow precise work instructions while maintaining accountability and accurate work documentation through a start-to-finish fabrication process. You will assist senior Fabricators with parts and projects and interact with Engineering Teams to execute work requests.

Responsibilities

• Weld, fabricate, and restore high-end automotive chassis and parts
• Perform all assignments in accordance with EH&S and security policies
• Inspect both raw materials and finished products for conformance to quality specifications

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• At least seven (7) years of related work experience in an automotive (chassis/parts), restoration, manufacturing, or assembly environment
• General automotive knowledge and familiarity with fabrication, machining/welding equipment setup, process, and maintenance
• Advanced competency in GTAW (TIG) welding process
• Advanced competency in GMAW (MIG) welding process

Bonus points for Certifications and/or graduation from a technical automotive program.

Schedule

This is an onsite role in Torrance, CA with a schedule of Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM, plus overtime.

Pay

The starting pay range for this position is between $30 - $36 per hour plus bonus. Actual compensation will be determined by skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
