Senior Exploitation Specialist / Data Scientist

About the role

Streamline Defense is seeking a Senior Exploitation Specialist / Data Scientist to support a NGA USSOCOM geospatial intelligence mission at Fayetteville, NC. The position operates on a 1st shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement mission-ready solutions using Python
• Query and integrate web APIs to retrieve, normalize, and operationalize data
• Develop interactive data visualizations using Plotly, Seaborn, Matplotlib, Bokeh, or similar tools
• Build dashboards and analytic interfaces using Dash, Streamlit, Panel, Tableau, or similar platforms
• Query relational databases using strong SQL skills
• Use Git-based version control platforms like GitLab or GitHub for project management
• Utilize geospatial processing frameworks such as GDAL or ArcPy
• Work with GIS desktop software such as ArcGIS Pro or QGIS
• Write clear, concise technical documentation
• Operate independently at a senior level with limited oversight
• Familiarize with USSOCOM and broader U.S. military organizational structures
• Familiarize with common Intelligence Community (IC) data repositories

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Senior-level proficiency in Python with experience designing mission-ready solutions
• Experience querying and integrating web APIs through Python
• Experience developing interactive data visualizations using Plotly, Seaborn, Matplotlib, Bokeh, or similar tools
• Experience building dashboards and analytic interfaces using Dash, Streamlit, Panel, Tableau, or similar platforms
• Strong SQL skills and experience querying relational databases
• Experience using Git-based version control platforms (GitLab or GitHub)
• Proficiency with geospatial processing frameworks such as GDAL or ArcPy
