About the Role

As a Senior Estimator on our Advanced Technology team, you will work remotely with a prestigious pharmaceutical client on construction estimates, change orders, negotiations, and cost reporting across numerous U.S. projects.

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate and detailed construction cost and project cost estimates from conceptual design through final construction document level design.
Research prices on material and labor using published documents, local conditions, and market studies.
Partner with the management team to develop new customers and grow existing relationships.
Develop and nurture subcontractor/vendor and client relationships.
Provide value engineering services, set up work breakdown structures, and prepare task orders.
Review, estimate, and reconcile change orders, often collaborating with contractors or peer estimators.
Prepare detailed bid analysis and reviews.
Depending on need and ability, oversee a specific base of clients.

Requirements

7+ years of estimating or cost management experience, with significant experience on pharmaceutical or life science construction projects.
Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse client types.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and intermediate knowledge of Windows, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook.
Knowledge of On-Screen Takeoff and/or Success Estimating Software is a plus.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical), Quantity Surveying, or Architecture is highly preferred. A combination of relevant education and work experience will also be considered.
