Senior Estimator  Commercial Drywall & Metal Stud Framing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Drywall Estimator who understands complex commercial interiors and can accurately estimate large-scale projects involving metal stud framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, insulation, specialty wall systems, and tenant improvement work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and estimates for commercial drywall and framing projects.
• Analyze plans, specifications, addenda, and bid documents.
• Price metal stud framing, drywall systems, specialty ceilings, insulation, FRP, shafts, acoustical assemblies, and related scopes.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing.
• Identify scope gaps, value engineering opportunities, and risk factors.
• Collaborate with operations, project management, and field leadership during preconstruction.
• Participate in bid reviews, budget development, and proposal preparation.
• Support negotiated and hard-bid projects across commercial construction sectors.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial drywall estimating experience.
• Proven experience with:
  • Metal stud framing
  • Drywall systems
  • Acoustical ceilings (ACTs)
  • Plastering
  • EIFS
  • Stucco
  • Commercial interior build-outs
  • Large-scale commercial construction projects

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, assemblies, and sequencing.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Experience using estimating software and digital takeoff tools.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Pay

• $120,000-$150,000++ Base Salary, depending on experience.
