Senior Estimator

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Organize and manage multiple projects
• Create and submit quality estimates with detailed proposals from conceptual to construction
• Prepare high-level quantity and manpower take-offs
• Possess the ability to prospect and procure new opportunities for bid
• Analyze plans, specifications, proposals, and additional documentation to prepare bid estimates for projects
• Attend site visits, pre-bid meetings, jobsite walk-throughs, bids, and coordination meetings
• Maintain a professional working relationship with clients, subcontractors, and peers

Requirements

• Desire and determination to succeed
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in construction estimating
• Experience with conceptual and schematic design budgeting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; knowledge of On-Screen Takeoff preferred
• Understanding of construction processes and terminology
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills, both internal and external
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, teamwork environment

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years experience as a commercial construction estimator
• Conceptual estimating experience required
