Responsibilities

• Create accurate scopes, very few over/under scopes
• Create and adhere to acceptable budgets and address overages as they present themselves
• Maintain a construction schedule and work with trades and management to ensure work is completed on time
• Identify and present solutions when additional resources are needed
• Demonstrate proficiency with source removal, decontamination, mitigation, containment, ventilation, contents and deodorization techniques
• Participate in continued training with BELFOR University
• Independently manages own work
• Conduct oneself professionally and with courtesy at all times
• Attend BELFOR sponsored operations and safety training courses as required

Requirements

• Expand and maintain local area clientele in position to refer losses
• Use BELFOR standard in formatting estimates
• Coordinate after hours emergency services as directed
• Conduct oneself professionally and with courtesy at all times

Qualifications

• 3 plus years' experience in Construction, Restoration or Contents Estimating
• Residential estimating experience in excess of $50,000 and Commercial estimating experience up to $100,000
• Successful completion of BELFOR Estimating Platform Level 1 and 2 user certification
• Successful completion of Xactimate Intermediate training class
• Comprehensive Customer Service experience
• Advanced Microsoft offices skills, experience with Xactimate
• Professional demeanor and appearance, excellent telephone skills
• Ability to work well with others, maintain professional interaction with co-workers and vendors
