Senior ERP Implementation Consultant, Business Central

About the role

As a Senior Software Consultant - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, you will work directly with customers to implement, optimize, and support Business Central solutions. This role combines deep ERP expertise, business process consulting, and strong customer relationship management skills. You will partner with customers to analyze business requirements, troubleshoot complex system and process challenges, recommend best practices, and deliver solutions that drive operational efficiency and financial visibility. A significant focus will be on the Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Financial Reporting, and budgeting processes.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to implement, optimize, and support Business Central solutions
• Analyze business requirements and troubleshoot complex system and process challenges
• Recommend best practices and deliver solutions that drive operational efficiency and financial visibility
• Focus on Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Financial Reporting, and budgeting processes
• Manage multiple customer engagements and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Deliver results in a fast-paced consulting environment

Requirements

• Extensive experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and a strong understanding of finance and accounting processes within ERP environments
• Ideal experience in Food & Beverage, Manufacturing, Distribution, or Consumer Goods industries, where financial control, inventory visibility, and operational efficiency are critical
• Collaborate with customers, solve complex business and system challenges, and help organizations improve their processes through technology
• Organized, self-motivated, and capable of balancing multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of customer service
• Strong communication skills, consulting experience, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective ERP solutions are essential

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience implementing, supporting, or consulting on ERP solutions
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or Microsoft Dynamics NAV)
• Deep expertise in Business Central Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Banking, and Financial Reporting
• Experience delivering ERP projects in the Food & Beverage industry or other process-driven manufacturing and distribution environments
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and month-end/year-end processes
• Experience leading workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and customer training
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in a customer-facing consulting role
• Familiarity with integrations, reporting tools, and Business Central best practices
