Senior Epidemiologist

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of the Center for Biostatistics to evaluate, expand and monitor current clinical research programs within the orthopedics research program.
• Absorb and develop partnerships between clinicians, surgeons and basic/translational investigators at HSS and other institutions nationally and internationally.
• Collaborate with clinical investigators across all service lines to design, execute, and analyze research studies.
• Help to develop and support the establishment of new programmatic research themes.
• Work to build comprehensive strategic efforts to better support our research mission.
• Serve on or support the IRB and related review committees as determined by the Director of the HSS Center for Biostatistics.

Qualifications

• Doctoral Degree (e.g., PhD, ScD, MD, DrPH) in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience working as a collaborative research scientist in an academic medical center or similar environment.
