Senior Environmental Specialist

Audits, analyzes, and reports environmental performance

• Reports environmental performance to clients and regulatory bodies
• Advises design and construction teams on minimizing environmental impacts
• Manages subcontractors for specific environmental tasks
• Conducts impact assessments to mitigate environmental risks and costs
• Prepares environmental reports for supervisor and leadership review
• Raises awareness of emerging environmental issues across the organization
• Engages in environmental education and research
• Captures public hearings and consultations on environmental matters
• Trains staff on environmental responsibilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering or an environmental related field required
• Environmental certification preferred
• 5+ years’ experience or training in environmental regulatory and construction industry compliance preferred
• CPESC Certification (CA QSP) preferred
• Knowledge of local regulations or skill sets related to the specific work on project
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and new legislation
• Technical writing and communication skills
• Able to lead a team or project effort
• Able to manage subcontractors for project specific specialty environmental work

Pay

Salary Min USD $85,000.00/Yr.
Salary Max USD $110,000.00/Yr.
