Basic Responsibilities

  • Conducting site visits of wireless communications facilities and commercial properties
  • Reviewing historical records, environmental and regulatory databases
  • Interpreting compiled information and drafting a standardized report in accordance with ASTM E-1527-21 (AAI)

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel to project location, take detailed notes and photographs of site (1-2 days per week)
  • Conducting interviews, analyzing government database records, performing regulatory agency file reviews; reviewing historical data (including topographic maps, Sanborn fire insurance maps, city directories, and aerial photographs)
  • Drafting a standardized report using information from these various sources
  • Performing QA/QC to the satisfaction of both management and clients and completing requested revisions & submitting report within pre-established timelines
  • Conducting field work to collect samples of potentially contaminated subsurface media (soil, groundwater, and soil vapor) and/or indoor air and comparing analytical contaminant data collected to applicable regulatory standards

Preferred Qualifications / Experience

  • NEPA/Section 106 Assessments
  • 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification
  • Mold assessment/indoor air quality (IAQ) experience
  • Licensed Asbestos/Lead-based paint Inspector
  • Transaction Screen Assessments (ASTM E1528)
  • Property Condition Assessments (ASTM E2018)
  • Record Search with Risk Assessments (SBA SOP 50 10 6)
  • Environmental Professional (EP)
  • Wetland Delineations

This position is based in our Schaumburg, Illinois office. Candidates will work on-site.
