Senior Environmental Project Manager (Oil, Gas, Remediation)
About the role
AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Project Manager to support our Oil and Gas business line. This role can be based in any of our office locations in Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange, Westlake Village, Oakland, San Luis Obispo (SLO), Richmond, or San Diego, California.
Responsibilities
- Deliver revenues assigned from specific clients as a result of repeat business caused by flawless execution of projects.
- Consistently deliver profit margins planned.
- Consistently complete projects without write-downs or multiplier erosion.
- Manage projects involving RTF (Risk Triggering Factors).
- Lead more complex clients and projects.
- Direct other Project Managers in recognizing risk and uncertainty with plans to mitigate and eliminate such.
- Supervise and direct Project Managers with multiple projects or program of projects.
Qualifications
- BA/BS and 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- 10+ years of environmental consulting experience supporting oil & gas, refining, industrial, or energy-sector clients.
- Proven track record managing complex, multi-disciplinary environmental projects with responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, and quality performance.
- Strong client relationship management skills with experience growing key accounts and securing repeat business.
- Experience leading project teams, mentoring project managers, and managing project risk, contracts, and financial performance.
- Professional certification or registration preferred, such as PG, PE, CHMM, PMP, or a related credential.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $125000 to $200000 per year.
