Senior Environmental Project Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Manage environmental site investigation and remediation projects from planning through completion
- Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, deliverables, and contractual/financial matters
- Serve as the primary client contact and maintain strong professional relationships
- Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, work plans, and regulatory submittals
- Perform and oversee data analysis, interpretation, and calculations related to sampling, remediation performance, and regulatory compliance
- Mentor and support project engineers and scientists
- Conduct and oversee fieldwork, including soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling and remediation system operation and maintenance, as needed
- Support business development through networking, professional organizations, client meetings, and marketing initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Geology/Hydrogeology, or Environmental Sciences (advanced degree a plus)
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant environmental consulting or engineering experience
- Licensed Site Professional (LSP) with strong familiarity with the Massachusetts Contingency Plan and applicable regulations
- Proven experience managing environmental investigation, compliance, and remediation projects
- Strong data analysis, problem-solving, organizational, and professional judgment skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with a record of high-quality work products
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
- Strong understanding of field sampling and investigative protocols; willingness to perform fieldwork as needed
- Experience preparing well-written technical reports within budget (construction bid specification experience a plus)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and environmental data management software
- Completion of 40-hour and 8-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training

- The base salary for this position may range between $125,000.00 to $150,000.00, depending on various factors.
