Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary EHS point of contact for assigned factory areas, equipment, and processes, potential to support other areas as business needs arise
- Provide daily EHS support to operations, including floor presence, risk identification, and real-time issue resolution
- Support new equipment installation, upgrades, and process changes, ensuring EHS requirements are reviewed and implemented prior to startup
- Participate in Management of Change (MOC) and equipment safety reviews for tools and infrastructure
- Review new Work Instructions and Procedures as new products and processes are introduced to the manufacturing floor
- Lead and support hazard identification and risk assessments (e.g., JSA/JHA, task-based risk reviews, ergonomic assessments)
- Investigate EHS incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; perform root cause analysis and define effective corrective actions
- Track and verify completion and effectiveness of corrective actions related to incidents, audits, and inspections
- Use incident and observation data to identify trends and leading indicators relevant to operations
- Ensure compliance with applicable OSHA, EPA, NFPA, state, and local requirements, as well as ASML corporate EHS standards
- Conduct and support internal EHS inspections, audits, and self-assessments within EUV areas
- Support regulatory inspections and internal audits, including preparation of documentation and follow-up actions
- Deliver and support EHS training for employees and contractors in line with business needs
- Coach engineers, supervisors, and technicians on safe work practices and risk-based decision making
- Promote a strong safety culture by engaging employees in proactive EHS activities, observations, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Serve as a role model for EHS behaviors on the factory floor
- Partner with operations, engineering, facilities, and project teams to embed EHS into daily work
- Support site and sector EHS initiatives, campaigns, and improvement projects
- Contribute to the development and refinement of EHS procedures, standards, and tools
- Prepare routine EHS reports, metrics, and presentations for stakeholders as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety or a related field preferred, candidates with extensive experience in lieu of a degree will be considered
- 3+ years of EHS experience, manufacturing experience preferred
- Knowledge of EHS programs and principals
- Experience with incident investigation, root cause analysis and corrective action management
- Track record of successful stakeholder management
- Familiarity with risk assessment tools, Job Safety Analysis, and work permitting
- Ability to interpret and apply EHS requirements to manufacturing operations
- Collaborates in a positive and efficient manner
- Strong communicator with the ability to influence and coach at multiple organizational levels
- Practical, solution-oriented mindset

Additional Responsibilities
- Potential for exposure to strong magnetic fields, high voltage and currents
- This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730, et seq.)
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work
- Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology
