Responsibilities

  • Provide support to manufacturing sites to maintain environmental compliance, implement corrective actions, and continuously improve environmental management practices.
  • Support manufacturing sites and corporate teams in regulatory processes, including permit applications and environmental reporting requirements.
  • Participate in the collection, analysis, and communication of environmental performance data, as well as in the preparation of required reports.
  • Contribute to environmental audits, monitor action plans, and strengthen environmental management systems.
  • Conduct regulatory monitoring and serve as a subject matter expert to communicate environmental requirements effectively to internal stakeholders.
  • Recommend and lead projects and initiatives aimed at reducing environmental impact and improving corporate environmental practices.

Requirements

  • Hold a technical diploma or a bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field, along with a minimum of 8 years of experience in environmental management.
  • Demonstrate collaborative leadership, a strong team-oriented mindset, and excellent communication and knowledge-sharing skills.
  • Exhibit a high level of rigor in planning, organizing, and executing assignments, while showing autonomy and resourcefulness.
  • Possess strong adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications; experience with SAP is considered an asset.
  • Fluent in both French and English to collaborate effectively with business units and partners across Quebec, English-speaking provinces, and the United States.
