About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned privacy professional with over a decade of experience in developing and managing privacy programs within financial institutions. This role involves supporting the enhancement of privacy frameworks, governance processes, and risk management capabilities. The position requires collaboration with first-line partners and legal teams to ensure comprehensive privacy compliance and oversight. The candidate should have a strategic mindset and practical implementation skills, especially in highly regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain privacy governance documents and ensure alignment with data governance initiatives.
• Oversee the Privacy Impact Assessment process, ensuring submissions meet established requirements.
• Assist in privacy-related risk assessments, issue tracking, and executive reporting.
• Coordinate privacy reviews for third-party relationships and document associated risks.
• Evaluate privacy considerations in AI projects and support Privacy-by-Design principles.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in privacy program management within financial institutions.
• Strong understanding of privacy principles, risk management concepts, and data handling.
• Experience with governance document development and risk assessment.
• Proven ability to identify trends and emerging risks in privacy.
• Excellent collaboration skills across legal, compliance, and business units.
