Responsibilities

  • Lead the comprehensive evaluation of the existing technology and software landscape to deliver objective, data-backed recommendations on whether to retain, retire, consolidate, modernize, or transition current enterprise applications.
  • Establish and enforce robust technical standards and architectures encompassing cloud computing environments, Application Programming Interface (API) integrations, and Development, Security, and Operations (DevSecOps) methodologies.
  • Design and implement structured frameworks to identify, assess, and mitigate technical debt, while ensuring clear guidelines are established regarding government software ownership and data rights.

  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Extensive experience functioning as an Enterprise Architect or in a similar senior technical leadership role, with a proven track record of evaluating large-scale technology ecosystems.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing software lifecycle management policies, enterprise architecture standards, and IT governance frameworks.
  • Deep technical knowledge of cloud computing architectures, API integration strategies, and secure DevSecOps practices.
  • Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience developing scoring models and assessment methodologies for portfolio rationalization and technical debt management.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical assessments into clear, executive-ready strategies and documentation for senior leadership.

Desired Qualifications
