Senior Engineering Technician
for section headings like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We need to include only sections with real content.
We have duties description (responsibilities). We have qualifications (minimum qualifications). We have pay info: Current Start Rate: $55,817* Job Rate: $67,990 plus Downstate Adjustment $4,150 annually for location. So we have pay details. Also maybe schedule? Not mentioned. Benefits? Not mentioned. Skills? Could infer from qualifications but better to have Qualifications section. Could also have Skills section if we want to list CAD, GIS, etc. But we should not create thin sections. The posting includes qualifications and also mentions required skills: CAD, GIS, Microsoft Word/Excel, driver's license, etc. Could combine into Qualifications. Probably best to have sections: Responsibilities, Qualifications, Pay. Possibly also About the role? The description starts with "Under the supervision...". Could treat that as About the role. But we already have Responsibilities. The instruction: Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. So maybe combine About the role and Responsibilities into one? But we need headings for each section we include. Could do: About the role
with paragraph summarizing role. Then Responsibilities
with list. Then Qualifications
with list. Then Pay
with paragraph.
We must not repeat job title as heading. No Job ID. Remove boilerplate. Ensure we preserve all substantive information.

- If selected, current Civil Service employees will lose their seniority within the Classified Service, thereby exempting them from applying for promotional exams within Civil Service.
- Current Start Rate: $55,817* Job Rate: $67,990 (*All hires begin at “Start Rate” unless prior state experience affords eligibility for hiring step increase as determined by OSC.)
- In addition: the Francis S. Gabreski ANGB location will receive a Downstate Adjustment of $4,150 annually.
We need to preserve all substantive information. So include the note about classification, civil service, start rate, job rate, downstate adjustment.
We should not include boilerplate like EEO etc. There's none.
We need to output only HTML fragment.
Let's craft:
About the role

Additional Information
but that may be thin. Better to incorporate into Qualifications or About the role? The classification info is substantive; we could add aAdditional Information
with paragraph. But we want few sections. Could add a paragraph under About the role after the initial paragraph covering classification and civil service. Or we could add a separate section "Additional Information". The instruction: Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. Adding a fourth section may be okay if it's substantive. The classification and civil service info is substantive. Could incorporate into About the role. Let's add after the role paragraph: "This position is not in the Classified Service of New York State, but is covered under New York State Military Law. If selected, current Civil Service employees will lose their seniority within the Classified Service, thereby exempting them from applying for promotional exams within Civil Service." That seems fine. Now Pay section: include Start Rate, Job Rate, note about start rate, downstate adjustment. Let's craft. Make sure to preserve asterisks and notes. Now produce HTML. Check for any repeated content: ensure we didn't miss any duty. Let's list duties again and ensure all are included.
